We provide plant installion services utilizing layouts from landcape artitectects, the homeowner, or Oak Hill. Either way you can be assured we use proper planting techniques and provide a 1 year limited warranty on all the plants we install. We have formulated our planting techniques to include soil additives that fend off disease, promote deep rooting, and harvest water in the soil until the plant needs it.
Annuals make a signifigant controbution to any landscape. The impact of color and the thickness of the plant can seperate your property from the rest. Rest assured that we take additional steps in our planting techniques to provide that eye popping color you want. Our current planting practices included removing old flowers, applying new compost with slow and fast release fertilizers, planting the flowers and mulching the beds. Our slow and fast release fertililzers allow proper nuturients to the plant at the right times and because we till up the beds and add new compost, the roots have abundent room to grow and mature, without having to fight through the hard Georgia clay.
We offer pine straw and mulch installations through your islands and beds. The correct use of pine straw and mulch in your beds can trap moisture in the soil for your plants to use at a later time, cut down on weeds surfacing in your beds, and protect your plants root systems from exposure to acts of nature such as freezing temperatures and heat.
Organic Planting/Lawn Treatments
Organic services. Our research of published studies indicate that sythetic fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides may have a detrimental effect on animal and human health. As a landscape company, we fell we should offer this environmentally friendly service to our customers. Although organic lawn treatments cost more than synthetic lawn treatments, in our experiance an organic yard will be greener, more drought resistant requiring less water to thrive, is the last to brown in the winter, the first to green up in the spring, and most importantly, the home owner has the assurance of a chemically free yard.
Our orgainic lawn treatment program consists of 8 annual visits. Typical results take about 3 years to covert your yard from a synthetic yard to an organic yard. This is becuase it takes a while to flush out the soil of chemicals and to get the soil in the yard full of micro-nutureints and benificial fugi to produce the organisms that help protect the yard from diseases, and prduce a full, lush, green yard. You will see some weeds in the yard time to time. This is normal and are called indicator plants. By seeing certain weeds, it will tell you what nutrients are lacking in the soil and that the yard may need additional nutrients to correct that problem.
Oak Hill Landscape Group, Inc. offers complete contracting services for commercial and residential clients. We select our contractors based on 3 special critera. 1) They have to install the product by using quality materials and installing it using correct industry pratices. 2) The product must provide value at a reasonable price. We know there are cheaper products out there or companies that charge less to install it, but that lead us to number 3). The product needs to have great customer support, backed by industry warranties, and provide quality to the customer so they can have piece of mind they are getting what they paid for, and if at any time the product fails, they will have confidence that it will be fixed quickly. There are alot of companies that can do a job for less, it malfunctions, then the customer has to try to get someone out there to fix it or can't even find the company because they went out of business.

If you have an overgrown yard we can remove it and haul it away for you. We offer different levels of area clean-up and contract with top licensed professionals to remove large trees if desired.
If you have just moved into a house then you know how uneven your new turf can look. Oak Hill can sand all the uneven areas of your turf and roll it to level out the turf.
Whether you have warm season grass or cool season grass, there is always a time to aerate. We offer an aeration service as well as packages that include seed, fertilizer, lime, and wheat straw if requested. Spring time Aeration is ideally for warm season grasses where the best time to aerate and over-seed fescue is in the fall to allow time to establish its root system before the hot summer months come.
